Senior Financial Analyst

Workplace: Warsaw or remotely

For our Mother Company to Consolidation and Financial Reporting we are looking for: Senior Financial Analyst. This person will be a critical member of the Finance Reporting Team as we experience increased reporting needs and accuracy of data on monthly basis driven by constantly wider Group activity. This person will be a partner with the organizational business leaders on month-end close activities, internal management reporting, as well as variance and ad-hoc analysis. While supporting multiple activities, this role will specialize in implementation of reporting system and its maintenance.

MAIN TASKS

  • support and coordination of closing financial periods by companies from the group (control of the timeliness of data received by companies, preparation and verification of consolidation adjustments like intercompany reconciliation),
  • preparation of a monthly consolidation package in the format required by the Group (checking the correctness and completeness of data, analysis of changes in balance sheet balances, preparation input to the notes and bride for required position),
  • active support in project related to the implementation of the reporting system in ​​both BS and P&L (first months of work) – being a business partner between external provider and accounting teams,
  • cooperation with the accounting and controlling department,
  • active participation in the preparation of financial statements and cooperation with the group’s auditor (applies to the period February – May),
  • preparation of ad hoc reports and analyses related to the current operational needs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • higher 5 years education in the field finance/economy/accounting,
  • preferable +7 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience (ACCA, PIBR certificate will be a plus),
  • proven working experience in a similar role will be a plus,
  • knowledge of the principles of management and financial accounting (IFRS – including deftax, financial instruments, impairment test),
  • fluent knowledge of Excel (the ability to build macros will be a plus),
  • experience in trail balance mapping and building the explanatory notes will be a plus,
  • experience in at least on of reporting system such as: Magnitude, Tagetic, Flexi, Hyperion, Cognos,
  • excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with different management levels,
  • flexibility to change tasks,
  • autonomy and proactiveness,
  • strong analytical skills and good attention to detail,
  • knowledge of English at a min. intermediate level (work also on an English-language project).
