Meet Łukasz Mirosławski who is our QA Lab Manager.
We asked Łukasz some questions about his work at QLOC and more!
Check out his answers below.
What’s your job at QLOC?
As a QA Lab Manager my duties are negotiating project teams with Team Leaders and publishing a weekly QA team schedule, hardware management and supporting Team Leaders in solving complicated or persistent technical problems. It’s basically herding cats.
What do you like most about your job?
My co-workers, hands down the most beautiful, most passionate people I know. It is also thrilling to leave your mark on some of the greatest games out there.
Do you have any special powers?
I speak Polish and I know Excel-fu. Also, I know how to fly.
Which game from the ones you’ve worked on is your favorite?
Naughty Bear! This was the first game I’ve worked on (back in 2010 when I was a QA Tester) and I have nothing but love for it – despite its shortcomings.
What do you do in your spare time?
I play video and board games or watch movies and for sports I roller-skate, snowboard and fly light aircrafts.
Are there any work-related anecdotes you could tell?
QA Aquarium, which is the room QA Management occupies, has its very own pet alligator! He is green just like our QLOC dragon, inflatable and very friendly.
What was the most captivating task you had in QLOC?
I am unable to answer this as it would breach the NDA agreement.
How many games have you worked on?
According to mobygames.com (which is a video game database that also feature credits) my name is mentioned in 73 titles. In most of the games I’m credited as Lab Manager so I wasn’t involved in the production process of the game very much. I was, however, a Team Leader or a Tester in 12 of them.
Would you like to nominate one of your teammates?
Jacek Fajfer – he is a Compliance Manager at QLOC and he is also a Youtuber in his spare time.
