MEET #QLOCDRAGONS – Artur Szczurzyński

Meet Artur Szczurzyński, who is our IT Director.

We asked Artur some questions about his work at QLOC and more!

Check out his answers below.

What’s your job at QLOC?

I’m doing my best to avoid “Today’s solution is tomorrow’s problem”. My work is to be with people and listen to their needs. Technology is changing all the time, so my power is directly taken from my IT team.

What do you like most about your job?

I like the atmosphere of camaraderie and openness that is sometimes hard to find in corporations.

What was the most captivating task you had in QLOC?

If I had to pick one… then getting to know the team during COVID-19 and remote work situations. This task is still in progress. I hope we will get back to (normal) work ASAP.

How many games have you worked on?

I’m not directly involved in this process but I can try to do my best and test a few of them for the company, during a ‘silly season’ ;).

What have you learned from working in QLOC?

There is always space to talk and change something if you find the information useful.

What would you advise people who think about working in QLOC?

This is a very interesting industry. The work isn’t easy but it gives you a lot of positive energy. You can feel that you are involved in something special that gives other people fun and this is a huge game changer.

Do you have any special powers?

I can fix my 62 year old motorbike with a hammer, pliers and a screwdriver :).

What do you do in your spare time?

SUP paddling, diving, cycling.

Are you #PCMasterRace or #TeamConsole? 🙂
