KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Defining requirements, developing and implementing internal security regulations (policies, procedures, statutes, instructions) that result from the Company’s needs and valid law regulations;
  • Conducting information security risk assessment in the Company’s offices;
  • Conducting internal information security and personal data protection audits;
  • Monitoring the industry for newest IT security trends and threats and developing relevant recommendations.

 

We are currently looking for a

IT SECURITY SPECIALIST

Workplace: QLOC’s Head Office, ul. Krakowiaków 50, Warsaw, Poland

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Defining requirements, developing and implementing internal security regulations (policies, procedures, statutes, instructions) that result from the Company’s needs and valid law regulations;
  • Developing and implementing standards of security in force at the Company;
  • Managing and supervising the security of systems and services, access control, physical security and data security;
  • Conducting information security risk assessment in the Company’s offices;
  • Conducting internal information security and personal data protection audits;
  • Handling security incidents;
  • Conducting trainings related to information security;
  • Monitoring the industry for newest IT security trends and threats and developing relevant recommendations.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Higher technical education (IT majors preferred);
  • At least 2 years of experience on an independent position in the field of information security management;
  • Very good knowledge of English (at least B2 / C1) and Polish (C2) in speaking and writing (e-mails, phone conferences, reports, presentations, trainings);
  • Experience in designing and implementing information security policies;
  • Ability to conduct trainings and presentations;
  • Very good practical knowledge of tools and services related to the broadly-defined cybersecurity from at least two fields (data encryption, endpoint or server hardening, PKI, device management, identity management, privileges management, computer forensics, malware analysis) confirmed by participation in projects;
  • Knowledge of issues related to risk management or network, application or IT systems security (MS Windows and Linux environments);
  • Experience in the fields or creating policies, procedures and guidelines related to IT security, conducting or supporting IT security audits;
  • Analytical skills;
  • Very good self-organization, responsibility and ability to meet deadlines;

BONUS ADVANTAGES:

  • Very good knowledge of IT security standards: ISO 27001, NIST, SANS;
  • CISSP, CISA, CISM, ITIL, ISO 27001 or other industry certificates;
  • Project management methodology knowledge (PRINCE2, Agile) will be a plus;

  3. Your personal data are processed for the purpose of the recruitment procedure based on your consent for their processing by QLOC S.A. The legal basis for their processing is Article 6 par. 1 pt. a) of the Regulation.
  4. The categories of personal data which are processed by QLOC S.A. include: your name, surname, telephone number, e-mail address, residence address, education, background and experience, skills.
  5. Your personal data will be transferred to the following entities: 
    1. External service providers who provide QLOC S.A. with internal communication and internal data sharing tools,
    2. External service providers who manage electronic mail communication,
    3. External service providers who render legal, tax, accounting or audit services to QLOC S.A
  6. We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area.
  7. Your personal data will be stored for three years.
  8. You are entitled to access your personal data, correct the data, delete them, demand limitation of their processing, transfer the data, bring objection against data processing, withdraw the consent for data processing at any moment, which does not affect compliance of data processing exercised under the consent before its withdrawal.
  9. All requests should be sent to iod@q-loc.com. Withdrawal of the consent for personal data processing means that the recruitment procedure cannot be conducted.
  10. You are entitled to lodge a complaint to UODO (Personal Data Protection Office) if you decide that processing of your personal data infringes the provisions of the Regulation.
  11. Provision of your personal data is voluntary but it is required for you to participate in the recruitment procedure conducted by QLOC S.A. Refusal to give consent for processing of your personal data by QLOC S.A. will prevent your participation in that procedure.
